Manchester United have confirmed their U-23 side will be playing seven pre-season matches ahead of the coming 2020/21 season.
The team recently gained promotion to Division 2, after some hard work last season, and now look to maintain fitness levels with some interesting fixtures.
Neil Wood’s boys will kick things off with a match against Salford City on August 12, before games against Swindon Town and Morecambe follow on August 18 and 22, in that order.
There’ll also be matches against Stoke City’s U-23s on August 25, another with Macclesfield Town on the 28 of August, before two games in September wrap things up.
Meanwhile, Wood is expected to be without some of his key players next season, as the likes of Tahith Chong and James Garner continue to search for regular first team football, with loan moves already being lined up for them.
