Manchester United legend Paul Scholes is confident the club will sign Jadon Sancho and also avoid a repeat of the failed Erling Haaland deal.
Speaking on BT Sport, Paul Scholes said: “Borussia Dortmund are just after a bit more money. Jadon Sancho looks a brilliant player and I think he’ll improve any team in world football with his assists and his goals.
“Manchester United were desperate for Erling Haaland as well and they didn’t quite go that extra mile to pay the money. Will they do it for Sancho? I think they will, if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer desperately wants him they’ll get him.”
The Red Devils were heavily linked with a move for Haaland in January but the striker ended up joining Dortmund from RB Salzburg.
Meanwhile, Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc is adamant that the Englishman will be staying in the Bundesliga beyond this summer. But the possibility of striking a deal with the German side is not out of reach.
