Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has dismissed reports of tension ensuing between strikers Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.
The Norwegian insists his players are all united as they look to give their best for the club.
When asked about whether Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford have formed a rivalry when it comes to topping Man United’s goal-scoring charts, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said (as quoted by Daily Mail): “There’s no battle between them [Rashford and Martial].
“You see how Anthony and Marcus play together — they are always willing to give each other the gift of an open goal.
“For me, there can never be a battle between players within a team.”
Even Rashford recently shut down claims of any personal jealousy with Martial outscoring him at United, hailing the Frenchman for his rich form.
The Norwegian will hope both players continue their chemistry and fine form in the Europa League as we aim we win the trophy.
