According to the Mirror, Manchester United are unwilling to sanction Phil Jones’ knee surgery because it would keep him sidelined until the New Year.
The club are looking for an alternative method of rehabilitation to cure Jones’ knee problems instead.
The Red Devils are trying to find a buyer for Jones in the summer as he is deemed surplus to requirements.
The Englishman was initially named in our squad for the rest of the Europa League campaign, but won’t travel to Germany as he struggles with another injury.
