Werder Bremen director, Weser Kurier, has all but confirmed that Tahith Chong will be leaving Manchester United this simmer.
The United winger is one of the most promising talents at Old Trafford, and recently made a cameo in the 2-1 win over LASK Linz, on Wednesday.
However, at just 20, and with many options ahead of him, the Dutchman still needs to improve himself and convince Olé Gunnar Solskjaer of his readiness to play regularly.
His agent, Erkan Alkan, recently revealed the player wants to go elsewhere, to enjoy more playing time, and it appears, Bremen is in keen on the United youngster.
Kurier, while speaking to Bild about Chong recently said, “The talks have been going well so far. But there are several parties involved and some obstacles still need to be overcome.
“Whether that will work will become clear in the coming days or weeks. I cannot say anything about the likelihood of a transfer.”
Chong is considered an important player for Olé Gunnar Solskjaer, having extended his contract with the Red Devils recently, but a loan deal is also very vital to help develop him, and prepare him for the future.
