Alexis Sanchez appears to have fired some shots at Manchester United, after sealing a permanent move to Inter Milan this week.
The Chilean made his move permanent, after initially joining them on loan last summer, following an abysmal spell at United.
In a video shared on Inter’s official social media page, the forward is heard saying: “I’m really happy to be staying here with you, Inter fans. I’ve found a family here and the staff are great.
“It’s a group where there’s a real desire to win something big. People here want to fight together as a team to give the club the success it deserves. I’m hungry and I want to win. My goal is to make all the fans happy.”
It is no secret that United have had some struggles since Sir Alex Ferguson left the club, but lately, there has been major improvements, thanks to Olé Gunnar Solskjaer and the players, so if Sanchez was making reference to that, he clearly missed.
Meanwhile, there are reports that United paid Sanchez up to €9 million, to terminate his contract with them, and end the nightmare of having to pay him about £500k a week.
