Manchester United youngster Aliou Traore is considering leaving the club this summer in search of regular playing time.
The 19-year-old midfielder has been impressive for United at youth level this season. He netted four goals in 14 appearances for United U23s.
Reports in France have linked Traore with a move to French side SM Caen and the youngster told RMC Sport that his main ambition is to be playing professional football on a regular basis.
“I would like to start as a pro,” he said.
“Like I said, I think I have the baggage to do it. I hope it will be in Manchester, otherwise why not go and find playing time elsewhere.
“I only have one year of contract left so yes, I’m not closing the door. But if I’m leaving, it’s for a professional group.
“I don’t want to leave Manchester to be in the same situation elsewhere. I need an evolution in my progression and that goes through a professional workforce.”
