Manchester United starlet, Teden Mengi, has expressed delight at being given an opportunity to represent the club at first team level.
The 18 year old came on as a substitute in United’s 2-1 victory over LASK Linz in the return fixture of their Europa League round of 16 tie, and looked assured.
He took to Twitter after the match, to react to the match, and was full of happiness and gratitude.
He wrote on the platform: “What a feeling, proud moment for me and my family tonight to make my debut for United at Old Trafford, Big thank you to everyone for the support. Time to kick on.”
Teden Mengi had been training with United’s senior team since the restart, after impressing with the Youth team. He also recently broke a record, by becoming the eight Academy Graduate to make his first team debut this season– something that hasn’t happened since the 1952/53 season.
