Paul Pogba is enjoying life at Manchester United, and now fancies a stay, according to renowned journalist and transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.
The Frenchman appeared unhappy and unsettled at Old Trafford for the better part of two years, and rumours said he wanted to engineer a move away from England.
Juventus and Real Madrid were among the midfielder’s reportedly preferred destinations, but things now appear to have changed.
Since the arrival of Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon in January, the club has had a different spirit about it, and it is believed this may have played a part in the Frenchman’s change of heart.
Romano, who’s known to speak facts when it comes to football news, recently confirmed this himself, when he appeared on the United Stand’s YouTube page.
He’s quoted as saying, “Paul [Pogba] is absolutely happy. He wants to stay [at United].
“So soon they will talk with Mino Raiola to find a new contract, because Paul wants to stay.”
The update is definitely a heartwarming one, seeing as Olé is on a mission to rebuild the team, and at a time like this, the best players have to be kept by all means.
