18 year old Teden Mengi made his Mancheste4 United debut in the 2-1 win against LASK at Old Trafford on Wednesday as he entered the action with around six minutes left on the clock.
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was impressed with Mengi’s debut and insists the club has a decent prospect in the youngster.
“He’s a leader, a [proper] centre-back,” said Solskjaer.
“He’s one we believe in. He’s in the same age group as Mason [Greenwood]. They grew up together.
“He’s strong, quick, good on the ball. We’ve got a decent player there.”
