According to reports, Manchester United have reportedly made a move for Fiorentina right-winger Federico Chiesa, as a potential alternative to Jadon Sancho.
The England international is the club’s top transfer target this summer, but MEN Sport claim that club officials are unhappy with the German club’s demands.
It is understood United have not agreed personal terms with Sancho’s representatives or a fee with Dortmund, who are believed to be holding out for £108million. The club have also baulked at the deadline given by the German side for us to conclude a deal.
Reports according to La Nazione (via Football Italia ) claim that the Red devils have made a €55m (£50m) bid for Chiesa, as a possible back-up option should the Sancho deal fall through.
Further details of the report claim that Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso is willing to let the winger leave at the right price. Chiesa, 22, scored ten goals in Serie A this season.
