Manchester United have taken a step towards competing at top level next season, by securing the services of one of its most promising talents.
The club announced on Tuesday, that Brandon Williams has signed a new contract, to extend his stay till at least until 2024, with an option of a further year.
The left-back has been important for Olé Gunnar Solskjaer’s team, since his debut earlier in the season, and has made a total of 33 appearances across all competitions for the Red Devils.
The 19 year old was particularly useful toward the end of the season, when Luke Shaw picked up an injury, and he had to be called upon to fill in the position. He has done well, and is definitely deservingly of his new deal.
Meanwhile, Williams has reacted to the deal, and says it’s a dream come true to be representing United.
