Manchester United manager Olé Gunnar Solskjaer might give 18 year old defender, Teden Mengi, a rare chance to feature for Manchester United against LASK Linz, when we play them on Wednesday.
Mengi was named along with 29 other players, in an updated squad list made available by the boss on Tuesday.
United already have a handsome 5-0 lead against their Austrian opposition, so Solskjaer will be looking to rest some senior team players, while handling younger ones an opportunity to show what they can do.
Mengi joined Manchester United’s first team training recently, to help provide cover for injured players, and reportedly impressed the managerial team, after showing fine work for the Youth team and the U-23s.
The Englishman previously wore the number 71 shirt for United, but has been handed number 43, which he could wear tomorrow.
