Manchester United target, Jadon Sancho, is confident his transfer to Old Trafford will be concluded before the end of the current week, according to the Independent.
The 20 year old has been on the club’s radar for months, after a fine outing for Borussia Dortmund in the 2019/20 season.
The Bundesliga side’s 108 million valuation of the forward was a stumbling block for the completion of the transfer, with United refusing to pay that much for the highly-rated winger.
However, after weeks of negotiation, reports claim both United and Dortmund seem to have reached an agreement that will see the German club receive up to £60 million in cash, with the rest to be paid as performance-based add-ons.
Dortmund has given United until August 10 to complete the transfer, and Sancho himself is said to be keen to return to England, where he played with Manchester City before moving to Germany.
On our side, we believe United will eventually sign the Englishman, but the talks might eventually linger for so long, as was the case of Bruno Fernandes.
