According to Daily Mail, Manchester United officials are upset with false transfer speculations linking the club with a move for Wolves striker Raul Jimenez.

There is a growing sentiment that the club is used by agents to generate hype for their players and often link players to the Red Devils to further their own interests – especially when it comes to increasing transfer fees.

The club have denied all links with the Wolves striker, despite rumours claiming the Mexican’s move to Old Trafford is a done deal.

A source from the club added: “The Jimenez story making the gossip page on the BBC’s website certainly did not help.”
