Manchester United forward, Mason Greenwood, has beaten off competition from Anthony Martial and Bruno Fernandes, to emerge player of the month for July.
Greenwood has been on fire for Olé Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, scoring a total of 18 goals last term, with 10 of them coming in the Premier League.
The Englishman scored 4 times after the restart, including goals against Bournemouth, Aston Villa and West Ham United, which earned him a nomination for July’s player of the month.
Greenwood earned 46% of the total votes from fans to win the award, while Anthony Martial got 28% to come second, and Bruno Fernandes, 26%, to finish third.
The 18 year old now becomes the first player to win the award previously dominated by Fernandes, after the Portuguese won it in February, March and June.
