According to reports in the Portuguese press, it appears Wolves are preparing for the potential exit of striker Raul Jimenez as they have been linked with a move for Braga striker Paulinho in a €30m deal.
Further details of the report claim that the transfer is been overseen by super-agent Jorge Mendes and is already a done deal.
Portuguese media outlet A Bola claim that the sale of Raúl Jimenez to Manchester United is imminent, and that Wolves view Paulinho as the ideal replacement for the Mexican striker.
That claim may be wide of the mark, and Paulinho’s transfer could be completely unconnected.
Paulinho had 25 goals and nine assists in 48 appearances for the Portuguese side this season.
