Manchester United close to completing first transfer

According to reports, it appears Manchester United are heading closer to sealing a deal for top transfer target Jadon Sancho.

According to the Independent, German side Borussia Dortmund are willing to sell Jadon Sancho but if only if the club can pay an up-front fee of about £60m.

However, Dortmund are said to be pushing the deal as they want their replacement for Sancho at the club before beginning pre-season on 10 August.

The deal is reportedly still being worked through intermediaries and no formal negotiations have started between the clubs yet.

Sancho has reportedly agreed personal terms with Manchester United and is waiting for both clubs to agree a transfer fee.
