Manchester United boss, Olé Gunnar Solskjaer, has been nominated for the manager of the month award for July, after helping the club to a third place finish in the Premier League.
United restarted the league in fifth, behind Chelsea and Leicester City. However, a fine run of 9 matches unbeaten ensured the Red Devils pipped their rivals to third position, and secure Champions League football.
Olé was nominated for the award last month, but lost out to Wolves boss, Nuno Esprito Santo, but he now has a strong chance to win it, after some fine work this month, where he beat the likes of Bournemouth, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Leicester City.
The Norwegian is nominated alongside Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), José Mourinho (Tottenham), David Moyes (West Ham) and Ralph Hasenhuttl (Southampton).
If Olé wins it, it would be his second since taking over as manager, after winning it in January 2019.
