Manchester United has officially entered negotiations with Borussia Dortmund to sign the superstar, according to Sky Sports.

Reports from Germany had claimed on Monday that United tabled a formal bid of £89 million, which was turned down by the Bundesliga side, but reps of both parties in England have already debunked them.

However, Sky say negotiations are underway, and Dortmund are demanding £110 million for Sancho, which United are refusing to pay.

As reported before now, the transfer is expected to take a while due to the fee involved, but it is likely going to happen, with United favourites, as they remain the only club to have made their intentions official.
