Manchester United have been placed in third position in the latest ranking of the most valuable football clubs in the world by Brand Finance.
United recorded a £143 million drop in value to find themselves third on the list, behind Spanish giants, Real Madrid and Barcelona, who are first and second, in that order.
Elsewhere, Liverpool are ranked fourth, after seeing a £64.3 million rise in their value, thanks to their latest triumph in the Premier League– their first in 30 years.
City rivals, Manchester City, follow in fifth, with their value placed at £1.018 billion. Bayern Munich are next, in sixth, with £957 million, while French champions, Paris Saint-Germain, are in seventh, with a value of 876 million.
The top ten is completed by Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal, whose values are placed at £859 million, £710 million and £651 million, in that order.
