Newly promoted Leeds United interested in signing Manchester United player

According to The Sun, Leeds United are considering a move for Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe as a replacement for Ben White.

The 22-year-old made just 10 first-team appearances last season.

The player’s injury record remains a worrying issue for the Red Devils, as well as for potential buyers.

Meanwhile, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to add a left-sided defender to the squad. The Norwegian might consider selling Tuanzebe in order to free up funds.

The club have been linked with a move for Villarreal Spanish defender Pau Torres as an ideal defensive partner for Harry Maguire. Former Spurs defender Van Vertonghen also been linked with the club.

It remains to be seen if the club will sanction Tuanzebe’s exit.
