Manchester United could start next season by September 20, if they get to the final of the ongoing Europa League.
The Premier League has already confirmed the 2020/21 season will kick off on September 12, but that date may not apply for English teams like Manchester United, who are still involved in Europe.
According to Sky Sports, United will be granted an extended break, to resume the forthcoming season later than the rest of the league, if they reach the final of the Europa League, which is slated for August 21.
Already, United have a leg in the quarter finals of the competition, after securing a 5-0 advantage against LASK Linz, when we met them in Austria, before the lockdown.
United will face Linz in the reverse encounter on August 8.
