Manchester United outcast, Jesse Lingard, has named Paul Pogba and Ravel Morrison, amongst the best men he has worked with during his time at the club.
All three players were part of United’s FA youth cup winning team of 2011, but while Pogba and Lingard have had more success in their careers, it hasn’t been the same for Morrison.
Speaking to Tribalfootball about the best talents he’s worked with, Lingard said, “I would probably say Ravel Morrison and Paul Pogba.
“Ravel was very technically gifted and had natural shooting and dribbling ability. He had everything in his locker.
“And with Paul, I have known him since he was 16 and he was big at that age and he has been maturing each year and you can see what kind of player he has turned out to be.
“He has gone on to win many trophies and a World Cup.”
Morrison hasn’t had the same success enjoyed by his former teammates at both club and international levels. The 27 year old made just three senior appearances for United before moving to West Ham, despite spending three years at the club.
He currently plays at Middlesbrough, on loan from Sheffield United.
