Manchester United defender, Harry Maguire is on course to match an impressive record set as far back as 25 years ago, if he features for the Red Devils on Sunday.
If Maguire starts the match against Leicester City, he will become only the first outfield player to start every single game for United in a league season since 1994/95.
The first player to achieve the feat was Gary Pallister, in the aforementioned season, where we would go on to miss the title to Blackburn Rovers.
Even more impressive about the record if it happens, is that Maguire has never been substituted in any of the 37 matches he’s played for United so far this term.
Maguire has also had a decent outing in his debut season at Old Trafford, having had the third best defensive record in the division, with 12 clean sheets.
We wish the captain a swell game tomorrow!
