Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provides a positive injury update ahead of our season finale against Leicester City.
Defenders Eric Bailly and Luke Shaw are set to return from their respective injuries just in time for the decisive Premier League clash.
“We’re going to give them as much time as possible,” Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told MUTV of Eric Bailly and Luke Shaw potentially featuring against Leicester City on Sunday. “I’m not going to rule anything out.”
Bailly suffered a head injury in our FA Cup.senifinals defeat against Chelsea last weekend and then missed Wednesday’s Premier League draw with West Ham.
Shaw got injured in our game against Southampton which ended in a draw two weeks ago and wasn’t available for the Crystal Palace, Chelsea and West Ham matches.
“It’s fantastic to see we’re growing as a squad and as a team. We’ve got to go in positive Axel and Phil are out but the others I’ll give enough time to prove their fitness,” Ole added during the pre-Leicester press conference on Friday, as quoted by the MEN.
The Red Devils have to either win or draw vs the Foxes to secure a place in next season’s Champions League group stage.
