See how we rate the players’ performance against West Ham

Manchester United played a 1-1 draw against West Ham on Wednesday, but how did the players fare?

DAVID DE GEA- 7

De Gea was not really troubled, and couldn’t save Michail Antonio’s penalty when needed. But overall, he didn’t make any errors.

HARRY MAGUIRE- 6

Maguire was solid at the back all through the match. We probably would have lost the match if not for him and Lindelof.

VICTOR LINDELOF- 6.5

Lindelof was by far, one of our best men on the pitch. Covered the 18 yard area well, and even went to the wings occasionally.

TIMOTHY FOSU-MENASH- 5

Not an outing to remember for the Dutchman, who didn’t show enough pace when required.

NEMANJA MATIC- 6

Matic was like most of his teammates, unusually slow on the ball. He still managed to boss the midfield, though.

PAUL POGBA- 4

Pogba caused the opening goal of the match, after handling the ball unnecessarily. He’s been defended by some, but this was a very bad game for his standard.

MARCUS RASHFORD- 5.5

Rashford started the game sharper than he finished. Showed poor movement off the ball for the most part.

BRUNO FERNANDES- 6

An unusually bad game for the Portuguese. He’s had a fine season so far, and can be forgiven for his poor touches against West Ham.

MASON GREENWOOD- 8

Greenwood scored when it mattered most, to pull us level. Another fine outing for the 18 year old.

ANTHONY MARTIAL- 6

An otherwise poor outing for the Frenchman, despite his fine run of form prior to the match.

  1. As for Bruno Fernandez he can be forgiven 💯%.
Because his arrival accredited positive impact to the team.
