Former Manchester United star, Patrice Evra, has criticised Marcus Rashford for his lacklustre showing against West Ham on Wednesday.
United were held to a 1-1 draw by the visitors, after going down initially, courtesy of a Michail Antonio penalty, following a Paul Pogba handball.
The Frenchman has been heavily criticised for the behaviour, but Evra believes he isn’t the only one to blame for the poor performance of the team.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Evra said: “I knew it would be a tough game for Manchester United, but I’m disappointed with some of the performances.
“There have been some harsh words about Paul Pogba and the penalty incident but I’ve not seen any harsh words yet about Marcus Rashford. He had a really poor game today. But West Ham deserve a lot of credit.”
Rashford seemed to start the match brightly, but became invisible as the game progressed, but we don’t think one person should be blamed. It was a team performance, and they all deserve to take responsibility for whatever happened.
