Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer named David De Gea for the game against West Ham despite his errors in the 3-1 FA Cup defeat to Chelsea on Sunday.
The Spaniard was at fault for two of Chelsea’s goals in United’s 3-1 defeat to the Blues at Wembley.
Ahead of the game against West Ham, Solskjaer revealed he didn’t consider dropping David De Gea against West Ham because form is temporary, class is permanent.
“You talk about everything before every game,” said Solskjaer.
“David is proven over the years. Form is temporary, class is permanent it’s that saying and David is absolutely a top keeper.
“He’s dealt with these kind of situations for nine seasons so he’s fine”
