Reports say Dean Henderson is close to meeting up for discussions with the leadership at Manchester United, over his future at the club.
The 23 year old has made remarkable progress in the last two years, after joining Sheffield United on loan.
His impressive performances have sparked talk of a possible return to Old Trafford, amid incessant blunders in goal by United number one, David De Gea.
According to Daily Mail, part of the discussion will cover United’s plan for him, as he has absolutely no plans to play second fiddle to De Gea.
Talk is also expected to touch on a possible loan deal or an outright sale, with Chelsea said to be interested in the young talent.
Olé Gunnar Solskjaer, however, isn’t interested in selling Henderson, as he sees the England international as a possible replacement for De Gea, who is ageing by the day.
United may decide to keep Henderson at Old Trafford, with De Gea looking short on confidence in recent months, although, Solskjaer still has faith in his number one.
Henderson has had a fine outing at Sheffield this season, keeping 13 clean sheets so far.
