Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has expressed gratitude to rivalsTottenham for their helping hand by wining Leicester City which handed has has handed us the initiative in the race for the Premier League top four.
United needed Leicester or Chelsea to slip up before the end of the season and it now appears the final day clash between the Red Devils and Brendan Rodgers’ side could be the decider.
“It’s between us, Chelsea and Leicester for them two last positions,” Solskjaer said after United were beaten by Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final.
“The more help we get from others the better, of course. But if we do our job on Wednesday we will be in a good position before we go into the Leicester game.
“We hope that last game, if we win that one, we can qualify. We’ve just got to regroup, go again on Wednesday against West Ham.”
The Red devils travel to the King Power stadium on the final day of the season, while Chelsea play their game in hand against Liverpool on Wednesday, and season finale against Wolves.
