Manchester United have lost a game for the first time since losing to Burnley back in January, and it’s a disappointing one.
Goals from Olivier Giroud and Mason Mount put Chelsea in the driving seat, before an own goal from Harry Maguire, all but ensured the Blues head into Wembley to face Arsenal for a chance to lift the FA Cup.
Manchester United entered the game off the back of a 19 game unbeaten run, and seemed the better side based on form, however, it wasn’t to be.
For some fans, part of the blame for the loss will surely go to David De Gea, who was at fault for both Chelsea’s goals, but then again, perhaps, it was just one of those days.
United must now, get back to the drawing board, and focus on qualifying for the UEFA Champions League by winning our next match.
