Mason Greenwood has been a revelation for Manchester United this season with his eye-catching performances across all competitions.
The 18 year old has been scoring for fun while matching and breaking long-standing records, and it is only fair he’s rewarded for his efforts.
According to The Mirror, Manchester United is working on making Greenwood a new contract offer that will see him earn nearly double what he’s currently on.
The forward earns £25,000 every week at the moment, but with bonuses and annual pay raises included in the new deal, he could start earning up to £40,000.
Greenwood only signed a contract with United last October, but the club wants to reward his hard work with the new deal, and convince youngsters like him they can also shine at Old Trafford.
It’s all timely as well, if you asked us. The man has been a star, and it’s only a matter of time before some of Europe’s top clubs come for his services.
