Former Manchester United star, Gary Neville, has urged the club to go after Watford winger, Ismailia Sarr, if Borussia Dortmund continue to play hard ball over the possible transfer of Jadon Sancho.
Sarr was impressive for Watford, despite their loss to West Ham on Friday, and Neville believes his impact could be huge at Old Trafford.
“Manchester United need a right winger. He’s a big, big talent, honestly he really is,” said Neville about Sarr on Sky Sports’ The Gary Neville Podcast.
“We’ve seen his performances before but tonight he was a shining light, even in that first half there were periods where Watford did attack and it was through him.
“He’ll be sought after and Watford will, I’m sure, cash in if they get the right bid.”
Sarr joined Watford from Rennes last summer, and has troubled defences with his lightning-quick pace.
The 22 year old has scored five and assisted five for Watford this season, and could be as important to us as Aaron Wan-Bissaka has if Olé Gunnar Solskjaer were to make a move for him.
