Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has urged the club to keep Paul Pogba at all costs.

The former United defender has claimed that the club haven’t yet seen the best of Paul Pogba, and has backed the Frenchman to gain his best-ever form very soon.

“Why sell him [Pogba] now? If you [United] are going to replace him – who? Who’s actually better than him and gettable in the world right now? It’s nigh-on impossible. Keep him,” Rio Ferdinand has said while talking to BT Sport.

“Man United have not seen the best of Paul Pogba. We’re beginning to see it now. It’s fashionable.

“What I’m saying is now they’re beginning to see what he’s about, potentially what he could’ve been when they signed him. Now they’re going to start seeing that,” he also added.

The player has constantly been linked with a move out of Old Trafford, but has opted to stay now due to the new vibes in the team. He is reportedly on the verge of signing a new five-year deal deal at tgr club.
