Anthony Martial has been on song for Manchester United this season, and the boss Olé Gunnar Solskjaer is impressed.
Speaking recently during his pre-match conference, the Norwegian said of the forward: “He’s definitely developing, improving and enjoying his football, he’s stepped it up this season as an individual and more as a team player, and physically.
“I remember there were talks about our forwards last season being the least active and there were stats flying around but Anthony is now working really hard for the team and he is a quality, quality finisher.”
Martial has indeed, stepped up to the plate this season, after enduring criticism for not being hardworking enough on the pitch.
The Frenchman currently has 21 goals for United across all competitions, and somehow, has managed to keep Odion Ighalo out of the starting eleven, despite the Nigerian’s impressive form since arriving in January.
