Anthony Martial was on target for Manchester United on Monday, as United recorded a 2-2 draw with Southampton.
It was the fifth consecutive match the Frenchman scored at Old Trafford, after previously getting goals against Watford, Manchester City, Sheffield United and Bournemouth.
Martial has enjoyed a good run of form this season, and currently has a total of 22 goals across all competitions for United. The only other player to have that many goals for United this season is Marcus Rashford, who also scored one against Southampton.
The last Manchester United player to get a goal in five consecutive home matches was Robin van Persie. So perhaps, this is proof that Martial has finally risen up to the challenge?
The 24 year old is expected to start against Crystal Palace on Thursday, and could increase his already impressive tally with the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba playing behind him.
