Anthony Martial has been impressive for Manchester United this season, and United boss Olé Gunnar Solskjaer, is happy the Frenchman is finally stepping up to the challenge.
Speaking ahead of our meeting with Southampton on Monday, the Norwegian said he’s pleased with Martial.
He said: “I’ve been very pleased with Anthony. You can see his work rate, his foundation.
“There were some stats last season on our strikers, and he’s really taken up the challenge and answered the questions I asked of work rate.”
Martial endured some criticism for failing to score enough goals last season, but this term, the 24 year old has stepped up to the plate, and currently has 20 goals across all cometitions for United. He even has room to score more, with four games left to be played before the end of the season.
