Serie A defender Kalidou Koulibaly has dismissed claims he is set to leave Napoli for Manchester United this summer.
The Senegalese international has been strongly linked with a summer move to Manchester United but he insists has never discussed an exit with the Italian club and hopes for a contract renewal which will allow him to end his career at San Paolo.
Speaking about reports linking him with Manchester United, Koulibaly told Gazzetta dello Sport: “I never spoke to Napoli about leaving. It bothers me to be linked, every day, to this or that European club.
“We will see what the president decides and if he proposes to extend my contract, that would allow me to end my career here.”
The Senegalese defender has been constantly linked to a move to Old Trafford, with reports claiming he could be sold for €70m in the summer.
