Ahead of Manchester United clash against Aston Villa on Thursday, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has warned his players that they are nowhere what a Manchester United team should strive towards despite being on a 16-game unbeaten run.
“The last 16 games unbeaten gives us confidence but nowhere near what a Man United team should strive towards,” the Norwegian told the media ahead of Thursday’s Premier League clash against Aston Villa.
“We can still go many games unbeaten if we concentrate on the right things, if we focus on the next one, the next one, the next one. [That’s how we got] there with 16. Hopefully, that can continue,” the manager added.
With six games remaining in the Premier League season, we are likely to finish the season unbeaten with relatively easy fixtures left to play as we aim for the top-four.
