Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has ruled defender Victor Lindelof out of clash against Aston Villa on Thursday.
The Swedish defender was substituted at half-time after picking up a back injury in our previous game against Bournemouth.
Speaking to Manchester United’s official website about whether he has any updates on Victor Lindelof’s fitness status, he said: “Not yet, no. It’s not too bad. He’ll play soon.
“I’m not sure if he’ll manage the Villa game, but he might do.”
Ivorian Eric Bailly is expected to be Lindelof’s replacement. The Swede has been a very reliable defender this season and formed a solid partnership with Harry Maguire.
