Olé Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly still bent on bringing Borussia Dortmund ace Jadon Sancho, to Manchester United, despite the recent emergence of Mason Greenwood.

Greenwood has been in top form in recent weeks and has scored 15 goals for United this season, and looks set to continue in that vein.

However, the Evening Standard reports that Solskjaer still wants Sancho because he doesn’t think Greenwood is quite ready to establish himself as a starter at the club untill 2022.

The report adds that Olé is also looking to hold Ed Woodward to his promise of making the coming summer transfer window an important one for us. Perhaps, Solskjaer will try to get the United hierarchy to change their mind about not wanting to invest heavily on signings due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Sancho is reportedly valued at £115 million by Dortmund, who are not willing to accept anything less than £105 million.

United recently made it clear that the club won’t spend more than £50 million on Sancho, but who knows – we can never say never in football.
