It appears Paul Pogba has indeed turned around on his initial decision to leave Manchester United, as multiple reports claim that the Frenchman is keen to remain at Old Trafford.
According to The Athletic, which is perhaps, the third major news outlet to report the news, Pogba is happy at Old Trafford, and is excited at the possibility of playing alongside Borussia Dortmund forward, Jadon Sancho.
The Frenchman has been in superb form since the restart, after his prolonged absence due to injury, and has featured in every match we have played so far. His movements are sharp and he has been splitting defences with such ease.
It is also reported that another factor playing a role in Pogba’s decision to remain at Old Trafford is the fact that the post-coronavirus transfer market has pretty much made it difficult for clubs to splash the cash, as they’ve been forced to manage available funds.
Real Madrid and Juventus are amongst the clubs reportedly interested in signing Pogba before the pandemic, but both clubs have now lost interest, considering United’s valuation of the Frenchman.
These are indeed good times for Manchester United, as Olé Gunnar Solskjaer needs every top player he can get to help United get back to the top of European football.
