For a man who has struggled to start games in the past, due to injuries and inconsistency in form, Luke Shaw appears to have finally established himself as a key man in Olé Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
The Manchester United left-back starred in our recent victory against Bournemouth at Old Trafford, and although he didn’t get on the score sheet, he did provide some brilliance on the pitch.
Brandon Williams is Olé’s other option for the left-back position, but the promising player has found play time difficult to come by in recent weeks, and that is all down to Shaw’s incredible form.
Shaw has started all 16 games in United’s ongoing unbeaten run so far, with Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes, the only other players to have come close to him, having both started 15 times.
The 24 year old has also been deployed as a centre back for the team occasionally, which further proves his importance to the Norwegian.
We’re hopeful Shaw is able to stay on form and keep playing well because to be honest, after all he’s been through, the lad deserves a breath of fresh air.
