Bruno Fernandes has been awarded the goal of the month of June award for his stunning strike against Brighton on June 30.
The talented Portuguese midfielder capped off a brilliant counterattack against the Seagulls by volleying a sleek pass from Mason Greenwood into Matt Ryan’s net.
The goal was one of the seven nominated for the award, but after a poll on the official Manchester United app, it was chosen by fans.
It’s the first time Fernandes would be winning the Man United goal of the month award, after scoring 7 goals since his arrival in January.
Meanwhile, Fernandes has also been crowned United’s player of the month for June, and is nominated alongside Anthony Martial for the Premier League version of the award.
