Former Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood has made comparisons between Manchester United striker Anthony Martial and Arsenal legend Thierry Henry after the Frenchman’s beautiful goal against Bournemouth.
The Frenchman has reached the 20 goal mark by scoring United’s second in our 5-2 win over Eddie Howe’s side at Old Trafford.
Commenting on Martial’s goal against the Cherries, Sherwood said: “Well it could have been Thierry Henry, couldn’t it?
“He drifts in from the left hand side there, he knows exactly what he wants to do.
“Look at the run from Luke Shaw that attracts Adam Smith so it allows him to drag it inside. He give him the yard he needs to curl it inside the postage stamp.”
