The good times seem to have finally returned to Old Trafford, and are we loving every bit of it!

Ever since the restart of the league, United have been on a goalscoring form, and that doesn’t seem set to stop soon , after another impressive display against Bournemouth on Saturday.

United put five past the visitors, with Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood and Bruno Fernandes amongst the goalscorers.

Martial and Rashford both scored one each, to take their total for the season to 20 across all competitions, and in the process unlock a level that hadn’t been done at the club for almost 10 years.

Since the 2010/11, never had two players recorded 20 goals or more in a single season for United, after Dimitar Berbatov (21) and Javier Hernandez (20) did so in the aforementioned season, but on Saturday, Rashford and Martial equalled the record, to perhaps usher in a new era at Old Trafford.

The signs are truly good, and one can’t help feeling that Olé Gunnar Solskjaer may have finally instilled that winning mentality in the lads.

With potentially 12 games still to be played before the end of the season, there’s no doubt that both players can score even more goals, to help us achieve our goals, and perhaps, unlock another level of greatness at the club.
