Manchester United breezed past AFC Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Saturday, after a brilliant work from some of our boys.
Bruno Fernandes, Mason Greenwood, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford were all on target for Man United, as we kept up pace with Leicester City and Chelsea, who are third and fourth respectively on the league table.
Millions of fans from around the world followed the heated encounter, but it appears rival players also made sure to monitor the outcome of game.
In a trending Snapchat video that’s somehow found its way on other social media platforms, Leicester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho and teammate Wilfred Ndidi, are seen talking about the scores from the match.
As soon as the video starts, Ndidi is heard asking the former Manchester City striker how many goals Mason Greenwood scored, to which Iheanacho replied: “Two”.
The Leicester striker then continued: “Martial scored one, Rashford scored one and Bruno Fernandes will always score, he always scores!”
We have to admit, all five goals scored were amazing, so it’s understandable to see even rival players speak about them.
Meanwhile, Leicester City are currently three points ahead of United in third, but with five games still to be played, it’s definitely possible we’ll overtake them.
