Manchester United’s Anthony Martial and Bruno Fernandes have been nominated for the Premier League player of the month award for June, following their incredible performances in the matches that came in that month.
Fernandes and Martial both got on the score sheet three times in June, to help United keep up pace with Chelsea and Leicester City in the battle for top four.
Aside the two, Wolves stars Raul Jimenez and Connor Coady have also been recognised for the award, with Southampton’s Danny Ings and Allan Saint-Maximin the other two players in the running for the prize.
Bruno Fernandes has already bagged his first player of the month award, after winning it in March, but will no doubt be keen to make it two in a matter of days. Martial, on the other hand, is yet to win the award, but it doesn’t matter who wins it as long as it comes to Manchester United.
