According to The Sun, Manchester United are ready to let defender Eric Bailly leave the club on loan in the summer transfer window. The player’s injury record has seen him fall down the pecking order.
Further details of the report claim that La Liga side Valencia are reportedly looking to sign the 26-year-old on a permanent transfer, could be open to a temporary agreement with an option to buy.
Several clubs from Italy and Portugal are said to be interested in Bailly as well but the defender’s £150,000-a-week wages could prove to be a stumbling block in negotiations.
The Ivorian is back to full fitness after completely recovering from last summer’s major knee injury but 26-year-old is finding first-team opportunities at Old Trafford hard to come by.
